Figure B.2 shows that ‘Systems Engineering Ability’ is made up of one or more ‘Competency(ies)’, one or more ‘Supporting Technique(s)’, one or more ‘Basic Skills and Behaviour(s)’ and one or more ‘Domain Knowledge(s)’. Each ‘Competency’ is held at a ‘Level’. There are four types of ‘Level’: ‘Awareness’, ‘Supervised Practitioner’, ‘Practitioner’ and ‘Expert’.
