In order to make testing and perfecting our new Magento theme easier, we can turn the cache off under the System | Cache Management option of your Magento store's administration panel:

From there, simply select the Disable option from the drop-down list:

Save this setting, and the system cache will be disabled.

Refresh the page in your browser, and we will see a design similar to the following screenshot, assuming the relevant images are in the correct directory.
