Colors play a major role in our lives. They help us distinguish between delicious fruits and uneatable food, they alert us to danger, or just thrill us with a sunset. As human beings, we always pay attention to the colors we see, even at an unconscious level, and we always assign a meaning to them. That is why we cannot ignore which colors we use for our data visualizations. Within this section, we are going to briefly discuss how to use colors to ease the understanding of our data visualizations.
