The Veterans Health Administration began providing patient access data bi-weekly through their website (https://www.va.gov/health/access-audit.asp). Included are pending appointments and electronic wait list summaries at the national, facility, and division levels. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services report performance data on Veterans Health Administration medical centers accessible from the website https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Quality-Initiatives-Patient-Assessment-Instruments/HospitalQualityInits/VA-Data.html. In this case we will utilize the Veterans Administration Inpatient Satisfaction Survey. The JMP file VHA_Appts.jmp was assembled manually from these various data sources. Pertinent information about the various columns was documented through JMP Notes (right click on the Column Header and select Column Properties > Notes).
