  1. The test of hypothesis presented in this case used the upper limit of the Stage 1 kidney insufficiency range. Repeat the analysis this time using the lower limit of the Stage 1 range (1.6). Does your conclusion change? Which value do you recommend using to define Stage 1 kidney insufficiency? Explain why.
  2. Given the results of the analyses presented in this case, what research questions would you recommend to pursue next to further understand AKI among these hospitalized patients? What statistical methods would you use to address these research questions?
  3. Analyze the length of stay variable in the creatinine data set.
    1. Create a histogram for this variable and choose an appropriate measure of centrality for the length of stay distribution.
    2. Select a hypothesized value and an associated test of hypothesis. Conduct the test and verify that the test assumptions are satisfied.
    3. Summarize your results in a few sentences.
