Weekly flu activity data was obtained from the Department of Health websites for New York and Missouri for the 33 or 34 weeks of the seven flu seasons from 2009-2010 to 2015-2016. The number of reported laboratory confirmed cases of flu types A, B, and Not Specified and the total number of influenza cases are included in the file flu_NY_MO.jmp by week for the seven flu seasons for each of the two states.
