In this chapter, we learned the basics of full stack architecture. We created a React application interacting with a RESTful API created with Spring Boot. We learned the basics of React—components, JSX, state, and props. We learned how to create and integrate React components.

Finally, we looked at how to integrate React frontends with APIs secured with basic authentication and JWT.

Full stack development with React and Spring Boot is complex and deserves a book on its own. We hope this introduction will help you to start your journey into full stack development.
