Max A. Eggert is Chief Psychologist with Transcareer, an International Management Psychology Consultancy. He has been interviewed frequently on TV, on radio and in the print media both in Europe and in Australia. His work and publications have been reviewed both in the professional journals and in the specialist media. He has also lectured at premier universities as well as leading many professional conferences.

Max first read theology as a preparation for his ordination for the priesthood and through his fascination with people undertook degrees in psychology and industrial relations, and postgraduate studies in clinical hypnosis. Several of his books are on the recommended reading lists of London, Sydney, Harvard, Westminster and Sussex Universities.

Married to Jane, with four children between them, Max lives in Bondi Beach Australia and, as an Anglo-Catholic priest, his joy and privilege is as one of the Pavement Priests working on the streets within the Archdiocese of Sydney for those in need of prayer and a sympathetic ear. He also leads the Community of Our Lady of Advent, one of several Anglican worshiping communities in Sydney. When not praying, writing, consulting or counselling, his other consuming passions are riding his thoroughbred, Zeus, walking his dogs, Daisy and Bana, failing to prevent the three cats, Solomon, Sheba and Pierre, from destroying china mementoes and praying that Mary, his Eclectus parrot, will not use the ‘F’ expletive when there are dinner parties.
