Importing and Exporting Information
Windows Mail can import contacts, mail messages, and account settings from many of the most popular e-mail programs. You can also export your messages or Windows Contacts information from Windows Mail to work with other programs.
Import an Windows Contacts
Click the File menu, point to Import, and then click Windows Contacts.
Click an import file type. CSV is a common text file type.
Click Import.
Follow the additional instructions, and then click OK.
Click Close.
Export Your Windows Contacts
Click the File menu, point to Export, and then click Windows Contacts.
Click an export file type. CSV is a common text file type.
Click Export.
Type a file name, and then click Next to continue.
Select the fields for exporting.
Click Finish.
Click OK, and then click Close.
