LinkedIn Ads Guidelines

Your ad will be listed as under review in your account until it is approved by LinkedIn. At that time, it will be switched to on and bidding will begin! For quick approval, follow the LinkedIn Ads Guidelines (linkedin.com/static?key=pop%2Fpop_sas_guidelines).

Some of the basic rules of LinkedIn advertising are the following:

Don’t be dishonest or use deceptive links in your ad.

Don’t use excessive or inappropriate capitalization, punctuation, symbols, spelling, or grammar in your ads.

Don’t repeat words or phrases in your ads.

Don’t use unprofessional or offensive language in your ads.

Don’t violate trademark and copyright laws in your ads.

Don’t refer to LinkedIn in your ads.

Don’t use any type of affiliate advertising in your ads.

Don’t collect members’ information or data through your ads.

Don’t advertise any of the items on the “not allowed” list in the LinkedIn Ads Guidelines document such as tobacco, firearms, drugs, ringtones, dating sites, and more.

Users who don’t meet the LinkedIn Ads Guidelines could be removed from the site and restricted from advertising on LinkedIn in the future. Err on the side of caution to ensure your ads are approved and your account remains in good standing with LinkedIn.
