  1. Invite your manager to see the team at work. Help the manager see why a team workspace is useful and how the team might use it.
  2. Help your manager see the value of collaborative cross-functional teams by using throughput or WIP or cost-of-delay calculations.
  3. Start the discussion with your manager about what it would take or what it might look like to start to recognize and reward teams. This could be a discussion that evolves over many meetings, so start now.
