Salesforce Einstein Vision

Image recognition can be very helpful for marketers, sales, and Service Cloud Users. With the help of image recognition, marketers will gain deeper insights about their brand and their competitors brand, which in turn can help them craft better marketing content and target the right audience. Image recognition can reduce a lot of manual tasks for the retail industry, such as counting inventory, providing visual search to the customers, and helping the customers to remotely evaluate product issues. Salesforce has recently released add-ons for image recognition for Heroku. Salesforce Einstein Vision API is currently generally available and in this chapter, our aim is to demonstrate to developers how they can use Einstein Vision and Heroku to build an image recognition application. We will use Node.js for all the coding in this chapter, and it is assumed that readers have an understanding of Node.js and JavaScript. If you are a developer on the platform and have no experience building a Node application, this chapter will be a welcome change and will help you understand how to build and deploy Node applications on Heroku.
