Summary

This rather long hour has been devoted to some of Photoshop's stranger filters: the Distort, Pixelate, and Stylize filters. They're not for everyone—and certainly not for every image—but they're fun to play with and can occasionally create some interesting, unusual, and beautiful effects. Filters can add interesting dimensions to type, also.

Don't hesitate to add a second filter over the first. Many times, the second filter or second application of the original filter can turn a ho-hum picture into something marvelous. At worst, you can always undo your efforts.
