The longitudinal nature of the method provides insights into the quality and consistency of experience over time. Each reporting point can be measured in relation to other reporting points along the entire period.

It is possible to quickly identify which tasks and actions the performed by the participant worked well, which did not and what was the overall experience each day, as illustrated in the following figure:
