John leads the marketing team in Contoso. He wishes to go through different KRAs and see how the campaigns are performing across different parameters.

John logs into the CRM system. As a member of the marketing team, he sets the marketing dashboard as the home page. Let's look at campaign type classification, which involves the differentiation of campaigns in terms of campaign types, such as Advertisement, Direct Marketing, Event, and so on. Check out the following screenshot:

Let's look at the various components:

  • Campaign budget versus actual costs: This involves comparing the total cost spent across the campaigns in terms of the budgeted cost:
  • Leads by source campaign: This shows leads generated for each of the campaigns:
  • Revenue generated by campaigns: This plots the revenue generated by each campaign:
