We can access vast libraries of clip art and templates that would be impractical to install on individual computers. Patches and service releases make our software run better, and automatic updates let our software repair itself. Consider the Internet and the extra goodies provided there as “just part of the package.” At the risk of seeming overly supportive of Microsoft, this chapter explores some additional free services that extend the features and functionality of your paid-for software.
