Start by drawing the rough shapes of the panda, emphasizing the rounded belly.
Construct the features, adding the ears, nose, muzzle, and leg. Suggest a few blades of grass.
Continue refining the features, adding the eyes, mouth, and paw. Then create more fur and grass and add a bamboo stick in his mouth.
Tighten up your lines and erase those you no longer need. Add leaves to the bamboo and details to the panda’s face. Begin filling in his dark markings with hatching.
To finish, darken all the shading and add bamboo leaves behind the panda. Fill in the black claws and pupil, leaving a highlight in the eye.
