Use orange-pink to color the skin tone of the gnome’s face, ears, and wrists.

Add some lines of medium, cool gray to the beard, defining the shadows.

Once the base skin color is down, use brown to define the nose, eyes, ears, cheeks, and wrists. Apply blue-violet to the eyes, leaving a small white area on each of the eyes for a highlight.

Create the gnome’s signature hat with a single layer of orange-red. Add dimension by varying your pressure to create highlights and shadows. Apply a layer of bright blue to the shirt and then add the folds using dark blue. Apply black for the deepest shadows and to define the face.
