Exercise 7
PINK FLAMINGO WITH EILEEN SORG
Apply black and light orange to the leg, beak, and eye, as shown.
Stroke dark pink into the shad owed areas of the body and face.
Add more color to the flamingo, building up layers of reddish pink and leaving some of areas of the head and body free of color for now. Further define the shadows with accents of dark purple.
To finish, refine the feathers and details with black for extra “punch.” Using blush pink and a greater amount of pressure, fill in all the white areas from the previous step and blend it with reddish pink.
