Using the basic shapes as a guide, create more defined shapes, such as the muzzle, ears, cheek, and browridge.

Sketch in details, such as the eyes, mouth, forelock, mane, and bridle.

After erasing any lines you no longer need, refine the shapes and add more details to the face and mane.

Darken all the lines and shadows, using hatching and crosshatching.
