APPLE WITH ED TADEM
Indicate the plane of the top of the apple and the pit that slopes into the stem, as well as the cast shadow.
Begin shading, leaving a white highlight. Then darken the stem.
Deepen the shading, emphasizing the shadowed left side of the apple and the cast shadow.
