Start by drawing a boxy shape. Then rough in the headlights, wheels, windows, door, and grille.

Sketch in more elements, such as the license plate, mirror, bumper, and grille reflectors. Round out the shapes and give them form.

Continue adding details, including the roof and seats as they’re seen through the windows.

Refine and clean up your lines. Add details and lightly shade the inside of the car, the headlights, tires, door handle, and other details.

Shade more thoroughly, concentrating on the headlights, grille, underside of the car, and tires. Note the radial strokes on the tires.
