Apply orange-red to the eyes and parts of the feet; then fill in the rest of the feet with yellow-orange, leaving white highlights. Create the base layer for the frog and stalk with chartreuse. Apply red to the eyes and shadows of the feet.

Stroke light green along the stalk and on the frog’s eyes and legs. Apply bright blue to the frog’s mouth, legs, and parts of the chest.

Fill in the pupils, nostrils, and areas on the feet with black. Shade the throat and chest with a light, warm gray and black. Deepen the stalk and frog with green. Add shadows to the stalk with a layer of olive green followed by dark purple. To finish, brighten up the shadows on the frog’s throat and chest with dark purple.
