included in the song. This can work to your advantage if you want to
make a practice version without certain instruments in the mix.

1. You can select an instrument in Magic GarageBand Jam by rolling over the
instrument and clicking the instrument.
2. You can change any Magic GarageBand instrument by selecting the instru-
ment and choosing another instrument in the menu. To add an instrument
in the My Instrument category, click the Customize button and then choose
an instrument from the list.
3. To isolate the sound of an instrument in Magic GarageBand, you can turn
on the Solo button in the instrument’s mixer.
4. You can have Magic GarageBand automatically change all of the instru-
ments to a different combination by moving to an empty space on the
stage, and then clicking the Shuffle Instruments button when it appears.
