54 Reviewing and Improving Your Photos
Comparing Photos
In the previous lesson you saw how you can zoom in to a photo in the iPhoto
window to examine it more closely. In this exercise you’ll compare two or
more photos in detail using iPhotos full-screen view.
1 Open the Saint Martin Event, and then select the two orange butterfly
photos, DSC_0983 and DSC_0994.
2 Below the Source list, click the Full Screen button, the rightmost of the
three buttons.
iPhoto blacks out everything else on your screen and displays the selected
photos side by side in full-screen view.
3 Move your pointer to the top of the screen.
Comparing Photos 55
iPhoto displays the menu bar and a photo browser at the top of
the screen.
4 In the photo browser, click the photo of the black-and-red butterfly.
The photo of the black-and-red butterfly replaces the photo with the white
border.
5 In the photo browser, Command-click the photo of the blue butterfly.
The photo you clicked joins the two other photos on the screen.
6 Move your pointer to the bottom of the screen.
iPhoto displays the full-screen view toolbar.
7 In the toolbar, near its right side, drag the size slider to the right.
A small Navigation window appears beside the blue butterfly photo, and
the photo is magnified.
