204 Tell All the World: Sharing and Publishing Your Movie
Switching Between Projects and Events
The Full-screen Viewer can display anything you normally view in the Viewer.
That means not just projects, but Events, too.
1 Click the “Show Projects or Events” button in the lower left.
The thumbstrip updates to show all of the Events in your library in a
Cover Flow view.
2 Click the Cover Flow button in the upper right.
The view updates to show a single thumbstrip for the current Event.
When you’re ready to return to the regular iMovie interface, or if you
want to switch to another program on your Mac, you must close the
Full-screen Viewer.
3 Click the close button in the lower-left corner of the screen or press
Escape.
The main iMovie window reappears.
Sharing at School
It’s one thing to bring someone over and show your movie on your com-
puter screen, but it’s even more fun to whip out your iPhone and show it to
the guy in line behind you at the campus bookstore … or more realistically,
to share it with Aunt Cecily at the family reunion, or an agent during a big
interview.
