Reordering Events
iPhoto displays Events in iPhoto’s viewing area in the order in which you
imported them, but you can change the order. Changing the order is useful
when you need to work with two or more Events that are widely separated in the
viewing area, or if you want to see them organized by their titles or their dates.
Here’s how to rearrange the display order of one or more Events manually:
1 Click an Event.
2 Optionally, Command-click one or more other Events.
3 Drag one of the selected Events to where you want them displayed.
As you drag, the other Events in the viewing area move out of the way to
make room for the Events you’re dragging.
4 Release the mouse button when the Events are positioned where you
want them.
Make sure not to drop the Events on another Event, because that
will merge them rather than move them.
You can also arrange the order in which Events are displayed by
choosing an option from the View > Sort Events submenu.
