424 Publishing a Website
The Welcome page template you’ve selected contains a navigation menu at the
top. It currently contains the name of the only page on your site right now:
“Welcome. As you add pages to your site, the names of those pages appear in
this menu so your visitors can click a page name to go to that page.
Modifying the Header
Let’s change the header on the page so it’s clear what this website is all about.
1 Double-click the MATT’S PHOTOGRAPHY placeholder text in the header,
and type EXPLORING BHUTAN.
When you double-click a text box containing placeholder text, all the text
is selected so you can immediately replace it by typing.
Next, let’s change the colors of the page title to match the colors used in
the national flag of Bhutan.
2 Select the new header text you just typed.
You need to have the text thats inside the text box selected for the next
steps, which will change its color.
3 Click Colors to open the Colors window.
The Colors window offers several ways to choose colors for iWeb. One of
those ways is to load an image file.

4 In the Colors window, click the Image Palettes button.
5 Near the bottom of the window, click the pop-up menu currently labeled
Palette and choose “New from file.
6 Navigate to the Lesson_15 folder and select the file Bhutan_Flag.jpg.
The Colors window updates and shows the flag.
NOTE
We’ll be using the flag throughout this lesson. When you’re done
with the flag graphic you can click the Palette pop-up menu and choose
Remove to reset the Colors window to the default spectrum graphic.
7 Click the Orange in the flag to change the text color.
8 Select the placeholder text labeled 2008 and type 2009.
9 Select the text and change its color to the gold in the flag.
The text is updated, but its a little hard to read.
