128 Sharing Your Photos
iPhoto uploads the selected photos to Facebook. iPhoto shows you the
progress of the upload and creates a new item in the Source list under a
new Facebook heading. When the upload finishes, the address of your
published album appears above the iPhoto window’s main viewing area.
6 Click the circular link icon to the right of the albums web address in the
title bar.
Your web browser displays the photos you published to Facebook.

should already have your newly published Facebook album open in your web
browser, so lets start.
1 In the web browser, click photo DSC_9009.
You can see the photo names in Facebook by holding the mouse pointer
over each photo. When you click, the photo expands, and, below it to the
right, Facebook offers several options.
2 Click Tag This Photo, and then, in the photo, click the soccer player’s face.
Sharing Facebook Tags with Faces 129
A frame appears around the face, and a panel appears beside it with a
space to enter a name tag.
3 In the “Type any name or tag” field, type D. Beckham, and then click Tag.
A confirmation message appears in the yellow area above the picture.
4 In the area above the picture, to the right, click Done Tagging.
5 In the iPhoto Source list, beneath the Facebook heading, to the right of
the Soccer action album label, click the small Publish icon.
iPhoto retrieves the tag information from the Facebook album. When you
click the Publish icon, Facebook and iPhoto sync their shared information.
6 In the iPhoto viewing area, click the photo that you tagged in Facebook,
and then, in the toolbar, click Name.
The player’s face is labeled with the name you entered in Facebook, along
with a Facebook icon. The icon indicates that you must confirm the name
for iPhotos Faces collection.
