If you’d like to create your own web links, highlight text on the
canvas and use the Link inspector.
9 Press Command-S to save your work.
Formatting the Archive and Page
The next page to format is the Archive page, where old blog entries get indexed.
You’ll format it in a way similar to the last page.
1 In the sidebar, click Archive. The Archive page appears in the canvas.
2 Select the Page inspector and change the Browser Background to the
pink_bg.jpg.
3 Change the “Blog Archive” text to MommyCast Video Archive using Comic
Sans MS, Bold, 36 pt.
NOTE
Once you have a blog set up in iWeb, you seldom need to bother
with the Archive page or the main page; iWeb updates them itself, every time
you add a new entry. This allows you to spend your time creating entries.
Creating Entries
Now that the blog is set up, you can start to add entries. Each story, video, or
audio clip you post should be a single entry.
1 In the sidebar, click Entries.
2 Select the Page inspector and change the Browser Background to the
pink_bg.jpg.
3 Change the “My Blog” text to MommyCast Video using Comic Sans MS,
Bold, and 36 pt.
4 Double-click the placeholder text “Day of Longboarding” and type Happy
New Year!
