The new keyword appears in the Quick Group area of the window. Notice
that it has an “a associated with it. iPhoto has assigned that letter as a
shortcut so you can quickly assign that keyword to a photo selection by
typing that letter when the Keywords window is open.
6 In the iPhoto window, select photos DSC_6105, DSC_9002, DSC_9009,
and DSC_9032, and then click the Action button in the Quick Group area
of the Keywords window.
The pictures all have the Action keyword assigned to them. You could, of
course, have simply typed a to assign the keyword to the photos.
You can remove a keyword from a photo by clicking its button in
the Keywords window, or typing its shortcut, a second time.
Searching Your iPhoto Library
Theres not much point to describing your photos, rating them, and attaching
keywords to them unless you can use those descriptions, ratings, or keywords
to find the photos you want. But of course you can; iPhoto offers a number of
ways to search your photo collection.
