Execution

A good plan needs an equally good execution for goal achievement. As part of execution, there are a number of iterative steps needed in CRP. Here are the steps we follow and are recommended to execute in the CRP way:

There are six steps and they are all iterative until you figure out the key steps making an impact and adding value to your implementation. The following are a brief guidance to the CRP execution steps:

  1. Listen: This involves giving a listening ear to all verbal and non-verbal business scenarios to cover in a CRP pilot.
  2. Identify: This involves figuring out the core scenarios and preparing the solution options.
  3. Define: This defines the scope for a pilot and gets it validated. Doing so is crucial to the success of the CRP pilot. This must be done for both business scenarios and solution options.

  1. Build: This step involves building prototypes, visuals, and a working solution once you have the stakeholders on board with the scope and solution.
  2. Lead: One must have a solution champion who leads the pilot from start to finish.
  3. Demonstrate: This step demonstrates the solution to all the stakeholders (business, solution, and IT) and seeks feedback for confirmation and optimization.

Let us now explore some best practices while leveraging CRP methodology.
