Preparing PowerPoint Handouts in Word

You can easily create printed handouts for your PowerPoint slide show, and the handouts can include thumbnail images of your slides. However, if you want to add more information about the slides and have full control of customizing the handouts, you can easily send the PowerPoint presentation to Word. In Word, you can include notes, add more text, modify the arrangement of the items, and make any other customizations you want to the handouts.

Publish the Slides to Word

  1. In PowerPoint, with your slide show finalized and saved, point to Publish on the Office menu, and click Create Handouts In Microsoft Office Word in the gallery that appears.
