Composing Different Types of Documents

You can use templates to quickly create all kinds of documents. Word 2007 comes with numerous templates, and you can download many more. When you start a new document based on a template, the document contains its own design elements, and the template’s predefined styles ensure that all your paragraphs work harmoniously together. Templates are completely customizable and can come from a variety of sources, so you’re likely to encounter substantial differences both in design and in ways to complete a document that’s based on a template.
