Amazon Videos

Amazon.com also offers video content. Some videos are available for purchase; some are available for rental; and the Amazon Prime membership ($79 a year) allows you to watch some videos for free.

If you purchase a movie, you can download that movie to your desktop computer. However, you cannot download and play it from your tablet at this time. Tablets can only stream videos. That means you need a data connection. However, you can view your shows in HD quality over a Wi-Fi connection.

Rather than downloading an app to view these videos, you use your Browser app. Go directly to Your Video Library on the Amazon.com website and view your videos in the browser window. Next, tap the Expand button on the lower-right corner to view your videos full screen (see Figure 19–5).
