Mystery Adventure Games

Sometimes you want to escape, and sometimes you want a challenge. You could engage in word and memory games, but there are also quite a few puzzle adventure games available for tablets that feature great graphics and involving story lines. If you like Myst, this is the sort of genre you might gravitate towards.

One example of this genre is The Mystery of the Crystal Portal by G5 Entertainment (see Figure 22–4). In this game, you help a young reporter named Nicole resolve the mystery of her missing father by solving a series of puzzles and mini games.

G5 Entertainment also created Paranormal Agency, which features a different story line but similar mechanics.
