There are many apps for shopping online, and we’ve explored a few of them in earlier chapters. Here’s another one worth looking at: the Grocery IQ app lets you create a grocery list for shopping in the store. Although you can use this app on phones, the large display makes it appealing for tablets (see Figure 23–11).
Grocery IQ comes from Coupons.com, so it emphasizes coupons and commercial products; however, it also allows you to share your grocery list with others, such as a spouse or a team. You can create different lists for different stores, and you can enter your list by typing, voice, history, or even a scanned barcode.
Speaking of barcodes: Any good Android tablet with a camera should have a barcode scanner. There are many that work well, from the basic Barcode Scanner to Google Goggles, which attempts to identify non-barcode objects as well.
