YouTube

The first source of videos you think about on a Google-made operating system is probably YouTube. Honeycomb tablets ship with a built-in YouTube app that is optimized for tablets. This app is easier to navigate by touch, and it lets you browse by topic, as well as suggestions based on your viewing history. The more you use this app, the more accurate those suggestions will become (see Figure 19–1).

The disadvantage to YouTube is that you must have a strong data connection in order to view your videos. It’s also lacking in (legal) long-form entertainment. For example, you’re unlikely to find a legitimate upload of your favorite TV show, although you can probably find a short clip or advertisement for it.
