Email and Gmail Widgets

You can take advantage of the built-in Email and Gmail widgets shown in Figure 8–12 to glance through summaries of your new email messages without launching the apps themselves. These are also resizable apps, as explained in Chapter 7: “Icons and Widgets.”

You’ll notice that the Gmail and Email widgets can be set to display specific inboxes, and the Email widget can use either one inbox or the Combined Inbox. This is a great way to set up a view of all your different email accounts at once in small windows on your Home screen.
