Internal Edge Server Interface

This certificate can be issued by an internal, private certificate authority. The specific requirements for subject names and subject alternative names for the certificate on the internal interface of an Edge Server pool are outlined next. The same certificate and private key should be exported and installed on each member of the same Edge Server pool.

• Internal Edge—The subject name should match the published name of the Edge Server internal pool. If a hardware load balancer is used, this is the name that resolves to the internal virtual IP address. No subject alternative names should be included in this request.

The last certificate required is not actually bound to the Edge Servers and is required for the reverse proxy.
