Enterprise Voice

In this scenario end users have full Enterprise Voice functionality and use only Lync endpoints as their phones. These endpoints can be a mix of Lync PC or Mac clients, Lync Phone Edition devices, and Lync mobile applications. Enterprise Voice for all users is the long-term goal for voice deployments and also provides the most flexibility to the end users. This is the state Enterprise Voice users are in for a brand-new deployment with no existing PBX, or when a migration has been completed.
