Planning for a Lync hybrid deployment involves a blend of planning for Lync Online as described in this chapter, and planning for an on-premise deployment as described in Chapters 29 to 32. Depending on the services that will be included in the hybrid deployment, there are additional requirements and considerations that are unique to a hybrid deployment, and these will be detailed in the following sections.
