Three Fundamental Windows

With the information you learned in this chapter about the three fundamental windows of Nuendo, you can get a great deal of recording, editing, and mixing done. These three windows contain most of the fundamental controls in Nuendo. They serve as a console, tape machine, and racks of outboard gear—all the creature comforts of a well-designed studio installation within a computer as small as a laptop.

In the next chapter, we will explore the remainder of the windows involved in the general interface of Nuendo. Call it the extended layout for lack of a better term.
