Changing Length

Usually, quantizing only affects the beginning of a MIDI event. The start value of an event is moved according to the quantize settings, and all other values remain the same, including the length. The lengths may be altered using either the quantize lengths or quantize ends functions. These functions are available from either the Edit menu under Advanced Quantize or in the key and list editors’ Quantize and Length tabs. (See Figure 11.18.)
