11 MIDI Editing

In this chapter we will explore some of the editing options for MIDI data. MIDI data is really the perfect data for musical editing, giving you access to the most fundamental aspects of a musical performance for endless tweaking and reinventing. MIDI can also be used for other purposes, such as automation of external devices or for communication between devices such as MIDI controllers and Nuendo.
