Current business challenges

Many a times, the current pain point from the existing system of the business becomes a driving factor for the next technology or the improvement in the existing system. So if a client has started a project on Qlik, it means that the business has some pain point with the existing system, which may not be allowing them to grow or to get valuable output from it.

Thus, for a consultant, it becomes important to know this information to make the project successful, because this can be one of the criteria which can be used to define if a project is successful or not. If a consultant helps the business to resolve this pain point, using the dashboard or any other way of reporting or providing the relevant data set, the project can be called half successful.

Failure to address this problem may result in the dissatisfaction of the client and the client may consider the project unsuccessful.

For example, the major pain point is to collate data from various data sources and making a relation between them, like linking Salesforce data along with ERP data, or linking human resource data with sales data.
