Help desk applications

These applications are post sales and take care of service related issues. Knowledge of these applications is required when you interact with customer support and service functions.

Commonly used support applications are:

  • Zen Desk
  • Lan Desk
  • Service Cloud
  • ManageEngine Service Desk
  • Other software (Desk.com, Kayako, FreshService, and Vision)

Qlik has ready connectors to a lot of these applications. Some of the applications are on cloud only, while some are available both on-premise and on cloud. If ready connector is not available, the consultant can plan alternate mechanisms, like the Rest API or SOAP API, to connect and extract data.
