Performance testing is an important validation as well and should be carried out immediately after the development is done. All aspects pertaining to the performance of dashboard starting from initial load in the memory to the user’s selections and exporting data should be performed.

When you click on the thumbnail on Qlik Sense hub, the data for the selected application starts moving to RAM and it shows an opening screen to user. If the application is heavy then it may take little longer to open the application. If it takes more than 10 seconds, user may lose interest and not use the application.

Even after opening the application consultant should check the time taken to refresh the charts and graphs once the values are selected in the filters. If the complex calculations are written on visualization, then it may take time.

Due to these delays user may stop using the application and the adoption of dashboard may get impacted and thus it becomes important to do a preliminary check before UAT stage.
