The dashboard is the area which is directly seen by the end user. Hence we need to ensure that all the values in the front end are correct. We had discussed in earlier chapters about the best practices in visualization, so as a part of the validation process one should check if visualizations suiting the requirements are used.

All other validations are generally performed by the developer to check the sanctity, but the front end validation should be done by a consultant who has the functional knowledge. This is important because this will be as good a validation done by the end user.

Followings are the list of things which should be carried out as a part of the dashboard validation.
