There will be cases where neither removing the field nor renaming the fields will help in removing the synthetic keys, due to the nature of the data contained in those fields. In such cases, it is required to include all those common fields to get the proper analysis of the data.

Consider the following case where both the sales table and the budget table have common fields with same names, that is product, period, and salesman. In such case, you can use the concatenation of both the tables to remove the synthetic keys. (The data model with synthetic table is shown at the start of the topic).
